"The Association is named and established as “Automotive Association of Myanmar” (AAM) for the objective that all proprietors of the authorized dealers, recognized by the International Manufacturers of Automobiles who are Importing, Manufacturing and Distributing different kinds of Brand New Automobiles and Spare Parts, have to operate in accordance with the traffic system of the whole of Myanmar under the permission of the concerned Ministry permitted in accordance with the existing Laws of Myanmar; the proprietors have to participate in the operation of the Development and Upgrading of the Systematic Services related to Automobiles".
Malaysia Automotive, Robotics & IoT Institute (MARii), is an agency under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). Thai Auto Parts Aftermarket Association : TAPAA pronounced "Ta Pa" was established on July 23, 2009. The association’s office is located on Worajak Road intersection which is related to the widely known automotive parts commercial district.
